Makes sense since LSU football actually started in 2001.

Alabama has more than 4 major bowls. Since the playoffs, the playoff game and title game officially count as major bowls.

It’s from a thread I made. I thought it best to separate NY6/BCS games from Playoff and Championship games.

The scariest part about this is that LSU is currently on a major trend UP

“Since 2000” is a corndog battle cry.
In reality, for anyone who was a kid in the late 90's and just started watching football, this 20 year run of LSU coincides with the BCS (started in 1998) and playoff era and we are now talking 20 years (A generation). So any fan that is 24-25 and older, LSU's 20 year run is now the base Mean for LSU football to measure it going forward. The 90's era of Curley Hallman are long, long, gone.
I will remind or maybe point out for some posters that LSU has had 3 consecutive coaches win NC's. The last Program to do that was Miami in the "U" era when HS, JJ and DE were coaching there between 1983 and 1993.

This article about LSU Football having the highest winning percentage in the SEC over the past 20 years has certainly struck a nerve here on the Rant.

Well, now we know why 2000 is the rallying cry ;)

I don't know man... any list where Boise State is #1 must be the linchpin of college football metrics.
It's pretty simple. The programs with the highest winning percentage since 2000.
