Alabama should not be in there. And Georgia lost to Alabama. What a terrible list. Even Big 12 Missouri would’ve beaten Michigan.

Alabama barely beat lowly Auburn thanks to 2 gifts from above. Auburn got blown out by New Mexico state the week before.

My actual opinion on the best 4 teams this year..
1. Michigan
2. Washington (they laid an egg, but they deserved to be there imo)
3. Texas
4. Alabama
5. Georgia
head to head has to count, regardless of when it was played..
If this was next year, and Georgia lost in the 1st round of the playoffs, they wouldn't get a do-over. This year was no different. They lost the play-in game.
In baseball terms.. they didn't make Omaha. Florida State has an argument. Georgia does not.

Yes you are. Auburn had Bama beat. Bama beat Arkansas by a whole 3 points, beat A&M by 6, lost at home to Texas. Not a #2 team, or even in the top 5.

Alabama took the college football national champion to overtime. They also looked better than Washington doing it.
