Many school administrators are already in planning stages for Fall classes online. No students in the classrooms means no students on any field.

A big concern this fall is a 2nd wave of the virus when it gets cold. I imagine the move to spring will be to avoid crowds in November and December.

The mortality rate is really only about 0.2%.

Way more people have been infected than have been tested. In California the number of people that are already carrying antibodies is extremely way more than those tested. Like X 85 or 90 I read.

Some are now claiming it's because the virus is mutating to something less deadly. They say it's mutated into like 30 different strains.

People need to get the frick on with their lives. What a bunch of horse shite this is turning out to be. Over 17 million people last I read have lost their jobs. Nobody gives a frick about those people. Other people are dying from existing illnesses and aren't able to get the proper care because of the panic. They have to go through everything alone because family members aren't allowed.

Every day this panic fueled shutdown continues is another day of bullshite.

Reality is, several schools are preparing to move to an online only model for the Fall semester in anticipation of a second wave.

It doesn't help when you have the head of the CDC telling people the second wave will be worse during a presidential press briefing.

That for lack of a better word is retarded. Just play the games without fans in the fall and be back to normal the next year

& ending the season still owning this state against the GnaTs is what we enjoy (just like you have the IB).

But the NCAA CAN'T make a universal ruling since some groups have 8 & others 9 ALONG WITH the cg.

So, which "conf. schedule" is going to be implemented....8+1 or 9-1?

Also, as others have pointed out, what about those FCS schools who's budget is assisted with a FBS school game?

That’s not something you can decide in July with tv and logistics

We all know you are a flat Earther. It’s already killed more people in 6 weeks than most year long seasonal flu seasons and over 1k people a day are still dying; 2.5 k died today

I’m all for creating a new job that goes up to anyone who says the words “new normal” and punches them in the face

You are absolutely correct. August and September in the South are miserable. March and April would be much more tolerable. With that said, of course it would be fricked up bc football should be played in the Fall but if this is what they do, it would be better than no SEC football.

Playing football during March madness would be indescribably stupid an asinine

Just seems inevitable to me that many, if not all, schools will go to online classes for the Fall semester. So it’s gonna end up being Spring CFB whether we like it or not.

It’ll be weird, for sure, but an interesting thing to see happen.

If it isn't "safe" enough in the Fall, why is it going to be any different in the Spring? I must be taking crazy pills.

Many experts are predicting that a vaccine will be ready by End of 2020 or early 2021.

So they would be counting on this piece of rank speculation to make a decision like this? Like I said, I must be taking crazy pills. By the end of summer we will understand what a colossal folly these blanket shutdowns have been. Play without fans if need be, but play in the Fall.

Huge number of false CoD. Look at Germany. Why is the death rate so much lower there?

Is the WuFlu allergic to sauerkraut? It's because they report it properly.

My biggest issue is it would screw up the 2021 season

Can you really start a season in the spring and then only have a couple months before the next season starts?

Some Americans live in a very poor lifestyle. Unhealthy lifestyle is huge in America!

Just making up stuff again and going with it kinda of like “it’s just a cold”, “less deadly than the seasonal flu”, “hydroxychloroquine”, etc. Now, it’s “they’re not really sick and dying from Coronavirus”. It’s the Sean Hannity school of medicine. You can support the belief that people need to go back to work without sounding like a complete moron by adding other senseless crap to it like the governor of Georgia who just found out two weeks ago that it could be spread from individuals who show no symptoms.
