I wonder what the difference was if you take the South Carolina game out
Without the SC game, LSU averaged 102,004.

When we're both in high demand, I bet they are too. In fact, I bet ours are more expensive. They are generally unavailable anyways. It's not an excuse.
After taxes and fees, I pay about $1400 for two nights at the auburn hotel and conference center, when I can get a room. They have permenent reservations 10 years out, that continually get extended every year. Can only get cancelations

Big screen HD TVs and the comforts of home are killing CFB attendance.

I think your math is off, but close.

i think the biggest player is the TV home theater setups now are so badass that you dont need to leave your house and can eat and drink your own stuff
plus add to that the new generation of "i gotta be on my phone 24/7" and they prefer to watch it on TV or even DVR. .

Shouldn't this be "more than"
Less than -1% means it dropped by MORE than 1%
I see what you're saying

OM has a Sugar Bowl year and they drop in attendance with only 60k.
OM fans are poor

They are pricing themselves out from where the normal blue collar worker can't afford to attend.
I really believe this is 80% of the problem, which will magnify if they kill live attendance among fans. Most every fan study I have seen in the past 40 years seems to show high correlation to long term and deeper fan support if the person has attended live games as opposed to just listening / watching games via media.

What on earth is happening in that picture?

Here is what I don't understand, they continue to charge $40-50 for nosebleed seats and then complain they don't sell out. My God WHY do they not just lower the ticket prices so the common man can afford to go to the game? You would think that $20 would be better than $0 and an empty seat.

Take that game out of the equation and use all regularly scheduled home games only and LSU Athletics Director of Digital Media Todd Politz has LSU averaging 102,004, which would put it No. 4 in the country

Then their math is off. It's not 102k. But was over 100k
