Yep the SEC is far from down this year. Unlike in 07 when we did not beat and SEC team with less than four defeats and still won it all getting beat twice.

What is it w so many SEC fans refusing to give credit where it's due? When one team beats another in the conference (w a couple of exceptions) it's b/c "the losing team beat themselves w turnovers"--not that pressure from the winning team forced turnovers. When 6 of 10 teams in the BCS top 10 are SEC teams, but Auburn &/or Arkansas are struggling and are nowhere on the list, "the SEC is having a down year." And everyone knows the only possible way that Manziel could ever be in contention for the Heisman is b/c other players are "giving it to him." Giving credit to other conferences/teams/players doesn't negate the accomplishments of your own team.

That's not at all my point. I think that JFF has proven he should win the award. The fact of the matter though is he had two major things against him, one being a freshman and two that a senior qb was leading a team to an undefeated season. Klein is showing he isn't playing well tonight and will probably lose. I feel that that removes all doubt from the race and locks up the award for JFF.

He needs to finish strong: stomp a mudhole in Mizzou and walk it dry next week.

The rest will work itself out.

BamaChemE, please accept my apology for misinterpreting your post. I'm starting to take this stuff too seriously.

K-State's offense is making Baylor's defense look good

If klien loses tonight, he lost the awards.

Teo has a chance IMO, though history would be made by giving it to him as well. (no freshman or strictly defensive player has ever won)

Barner has 1360 yds and 19 td's with 40 yds tonight
Johnny has 1114 yds and 17 td's on the ground this year

Its hard to argue against him

Klein is done. Baylor is smoking them 52-24 and Klein is playing like complete crap.

unless KSU has a comeback for the ages it looks like Klein is out of it.
