LSU was fortunate to enter this game tonight unbeaten in SEC play.

Vanderbilt has been unfortunate to come into this game without a conference win.

Vanderbilt played outstanding basketball and punished LSU for defensive breakdowns. They earned every bit of the win.

Will Wade was outcoached tonight. Not sure if that’s even the right way to put it..maybe he over-thought things with the pressing and odd substitutions. Not his best night, still a GREAT coach.

LSU desperately needs Charles Manning back to give the team reliable perimeter defense and take some pressure off of Smart/Taylor/Mays.

The LSU fan base (myself included) of this board needs to STFU tonight and take the loss and eat the humble pie. This boards been flooded with obnoxious talk of going undefeated in conference play when we’ve yet to play Auburn or Kentucky and have been BARELY getting by average teams. Of course the rest of the SEC is piling on tonight. It’s fricking embarrassing and we’ve been talking smack nonstop.

LSU still can win the SEC, even if we lose to Auburn this weekend. Long way to go and luckily we have some room for error.

I’m sure this won’t go over well but IDGAF.

It happens. If Duke lost to a no namer at home; LSU can lose to an SEC team. LSU will be fine.

Allow me to pay homage to an intelligent
and reasonable post from an LSU fan.
Thought you were extinct.

not gonna be a war..... we gonna get arse spanked. Squeaking by all these bad SEC teams at home finally came back to bite LSU. Now we’re gonna get exposed here in the meat of the schedule. That L last night was huge if we wanted to back door into an SEC title off some dumb luck (only way it was gonna happen, UK and Barn are clearly better UF might be too.)

I think so too. Should be tight, but the same thing that cost us tonight will likely cost us this one too. The Auburn backcourt should have no problem feasting on our guards, but I do expect our Tigers to play their tails off. Mays is due for a bounce-back effort.
