Mainieri is inheriting a much better situation than holtz or Spurrier which you're not understanding.

Gamecock football is not Gamecock baseball

2005 is not 2024

Big yikes for the gamecocks. Maybe it’ll work out. But he was forced to retire at LSU and pretty well documented as burnt out and washed out.

this is why everyone hates the figs of Tenner

^oh look, for this random aTm fan me merely stating an objective fact about how the baseVOLS vanquished Mainieri into retirement once before to end his LSU career and that we’d gladly do it again to him at USC serves a *REMINDER* to him as to why “everyone hates Tennessee”! Ugh!

247 UPDATE: I'm working on a front page story but, barring any last minute BOT snags, Paul Mainieri will be the next head coach. I anticipate him bringing in Terry Rooney as his pitching coach. An effort is being made to keep Monte Lee here as well. I do think there is a very good chance of that happening, in this case. But that isn't 100 percent.

If this happens I get it and like it a lot. If not, trouble.

Look phaggot, may I call you fig? It's nicer.
Anyway, fig, you assertion of "facts" will be taken under advisement by my Cajun friends who, I might add, find you and your arrogant contingent equally as repugnant as I.

I am sure you will come back with some ignorant retort. Give it your best shot.

Glad you read my whole post…

I also said that Nolan Cain did the leg work but why could Paul just hire another recruiter and have the same situation set up in USCe? Paul never did the leg work when he was at LSU, he always had a Recruiting Coordinator that did everything until they got on campus for a visit.

Its the greatest accomplishment in the history of Tenner baseball, isn't it?

South Carolina was already eliminated. I can't root for a team that is eliminated. I root against clemson, yes. Guilty.

That doesn't mean I ONLY root against clemson.

Weird logic

Yikes. During the end of his LSU tenure, PM didn't seem physically of coaching of anymore with his health problems.
