I always was ok with the players being able to express themselves to a certain extent. However our players do seem to be very liberal with their words on twitter from time to time, so I'm not as high on players using social media as I used to be.

I would think that they have at least told the players using social media to refrain from disparaging remarks about the university, and using profanity but who knows.

Omg my free dorm, free tuition and free food that all adds up to around 15,000 per semester plus spending money isn't enough 
What players have rent? Did they choose not to live on campus for FREE? No sympathy if they moved out and took on rent.

Would have been nice, if possible, for the students to get their checks BEFORE the holiday. Of course, everything will be closed tomorrow and that probably delayed things. Folks can't do a lot of celebrating on the 4th without any money.
