I wouldn't say he comes off as unintelligent. He just comes across as someone who determines an opinion on things first and then tries to support that opinion after the fact by stretching facts as much as he possibly can to support his argument. I don't think he's dumb at all. I just think he has opinions on certain things that most people just don't agree with, and he's somewhat stubborn in backing down. I'll give him credit, though, he sticks to his guns and is consistent, despite the fact that I disagree with the vast majority of what he says.
