The same idiots on this post moaning about firing coach O after a national championship are the same ones bitching we were firing miles because he won 9 games every year. But never the big game. Never would bring the team what it truly needed. An offense. Coach O fired himself. After the championship and divorce all he had was pussy on the brain. He picked horrible coordinators and lost control.

O has done no part of the job of a head coach well since the end of 2019 besides recruiting

Hes never done anything well other than recruiting. Thats why USC didnt hire him.

LSU is telling potential coaching hires that even monumental and unprecedented state and federal government intervention into all aspects of our lives won't lower the expectations for this job.

In 4 years Orgeron hired 6 coached that had to be fired reassigned or help brought in for them after 1 year. In his first year, he didn't hire a special teams coordinator and thought all of the position coordinators could pitch in and do the job. In his 4th year he admitted to hiring a defensive coordinator that he didn't interview. In his 5th year (this season) he hired an OC that had never called plays before and a DC that hadn't called plays in over a decade and when he did that was at Bowie State. Orgeron's first OC at LSU ran an offense that wasn't even the kind of offense that he wanted to run.

He's admitted publicly that he's guessing, was unaware of things going on in the program multiple times and he's constantly talking about fixing issues. Good coaches prevent issues. He wasn't qualified to be the coach when he was hired and he isn't a good enough coach to be the coach at LSU. It's beyond clear and he doesn't deserve anymore time.

Potential coaches that are interested in the job have huge egos. They are interested in the LSU job because they think they can win. They aren't thinking about what happens if they lose because coaches don't think that way. They aren't pussies.

Which makes it odd that other coaches would somehow be turned off of the job because O was fired.

Who also won a national title with the greatest season in the modern era.

I feel like the majority of LSU fans think they were the first team to ever go 15-0.

First and only in the SEC; the unquestioned GOAT overall.

Glad we took this opportunity to clear that up.

One thing’s for sure, A&M doesn’t

Auburn did it and had to hire a Arkansas State’s coach with 1 year of college HC experience.

Lol, that's true, but it's a bit disingenuous. He happened to be one of the hottest coaches in CFB at the time too.

And I notice you didn't mention his first year turnaround either.

Jimb Fisher who they wanted most.

Post Jameis he's gone 58-25, a winning percentage that translates to 9-4. He's lost at least 3 games in 6 out of those 7 seasons. Hell he's lost at least 3 games in 8 of his 12 seasons as a head coach.

Ohhhh pretty pretty please can I have your 9 win coach for the incredibly low price of $100 million!?

Guy is Les Miles at dealer markup. You can keep him.

"Wait.

No one is calling BS on the OP?"

Because no one knows. Everything you see is pure speculation. I love how close to the vest Woodward is keeping this search. No one will know until right before it is announced, which the soonest that could be is after our last game against A&M.

Bet Bimbo hasn’t turned them down yet. Personally I hope it’s Riley.

He's not an Aggie and troll swamp tard like clockwork. I'm just unsure which program is his favorite. My guess is either sip, or swamp tard

The notion that LSU is going to hit a home run is laughable. They’re either going to have to settle for a coach waaaaaay down their list or give someone a lopsided contract to come coach there.

Apparently you don’t know the difference between Alleva and Woodward. I’ll leave it at that, no sense in explaining the same things over and over again to you rantards.

On a side note, great game over the weekend. Well played by y’all. Maybe next year we’ll have an offensive coach, scheme and playing calling worth a flying frick to compete in the West.

Btw love with the Pitboss is doing in Arky. Great hire for y’all!

Tucker publicly stated he was not interested but why would he do that if asked and said no? I doubt any of those have had an opportunity to say no. Don't believe that's how Scooter (Woodward) works.

That's the case with basically every coaching search at every school regardless of the situation. You either throw a lot of money to someone established or take a risk with an up and coming coach
