"These preseason polls mean nothing, just look at last season's poll and how the poll at the end of the season compared. There's always a few teams that don't have what it takes to live up to their lofty preseason ranking."

Anyone think that trying to figure out 3-10 is a complete guess this year? I'm trying to figure out my top 10 and can't even get close. I don't like any of these teams

"OF COURSE LSU SHOULD BE SWITCHED WITH ARKANSAS WHO'S ONLY SEVEN SPOTS LOWER!" isn't a constructive argument, it's called trolling. You're clearly saying it over and over to try to get a reaction from LSU fans so you can be a little bitch about it when somebody calls you out. You REALLY think that Arkansas deserves to be in the top 15 after winning 4 fricking SEC games in 3 years? I'm the homer though right?
Sorry that Bert is a mediocre overhyped coach and nobody cares to hear Arkansas fans claim the offseason national championship because ya'll might finally finish in the top 5 in the west this season. Just remind me: how many of the good coaches across the country have gone 0-8 and 2-6 in their first two seasons as head coach of a program? Saban, Meyer, Richt, Miles, Spurrier, etc.? Oh yea, zero, because good coaches don't go 2-14 in conference play in 2 years

Always remember that the coaches poll and media poll no longer matter. It is all about the poll the committee puts out.

i see alot of fear from people because of the vols ranking.. i think its too low, but thats just me

wait what? so you have one year, out of the last 20, where you were ranked poorly in the preseason that you went on to have a great season (for Miss State anyway...3 losses is not good for the truly elite SEC teams)...and you think this should be used as the example, instead of the other 19 years where in fact the poor pre-season ranking was justified. I got news for ya fellow......Miss State is going to crash, and crash hard back to reality....you return 7 starters. You may think you do, but Miss State doesn't reload. You lost a lot of 4 and 5 year players. You are BY far the least talented team in the West and your record will reflect it. 7-5 will be a great year. I know you think I'm trolling....but honestly am not.

They are coming just like Ole Miss is coming. But, I would expect nothing less from an Ole Miss fan. I expect Arkansas to be a solid team.....but they damn sure ain't SEC championship type talent.....8-4 would be a very good year for them....right about where you will finish if you are lucky.
