"Divisional champions
Since the SEC expanded in 1992, divisional champions have been crowned. Occasionally, a tie between two or more teams occurs, requiring a tie-breaker. All teams involved in the tie-breaker are considered co-divisional champions, and the winner of the tie-breaker is the division's representative to the Championship Game."

I thought the head-to-head tiebreaker PREVENTED
"Co-Champs".

Nope. It decides which co-champ gets to go to the SEC CG.

Normally I don't think anyone would give two shits. We aren't Ole miss here, but if we did win it next year that would continue the streak to five in a row, which would be significant.

I'm not pointing any specific year out. I just said I thought there was no such things as "co-champs" in the SEC.

Agreed. Flarder needs that little trinket to feel good about this season.
Goodyear should sponsor their football stadium. That flying shoe in their logo would look great. Put it on that overhead camera wire and fly it across the field every game.

Visiting and playing in Atlanta five times in a row is different than being co-champion and watching as the team you lost to head to head plays for the title, I think.

Technically there is, but Ole Miss is the only team I know who's hung a banner for one and not gone to Atlanta. Auburn put something up for 2017 division champs, but we did play (kind of) in Atlanta that year.

A cording to Ole Miss, there is no such thing a Co Div Champs. They have a permanent banner in the Vaught declaring themselves as 2003 SEC West Champs. It’s pretty funny considering they lost head to head with LSU, who went on the beat UGA in the SECCG and OU in the BCS NCG.

Y'all already claim 1992 and 2007 as SEC East titles though.

Yes, if you finish with the same record, you are co-champs. I thought everyone knew that.

I thought the head-to-head broke that. Winner is the champ & loser is 2nd place.

I guess you learned something new. Congrats on your division title.

A&M once co won the division and had wins over both the teams that played in the conference title game. But silly tiebreakers left them out.

To a certain degree I can agree with you. But, which is the better loss this year? Losing to Florida or losing to LSU?
