clowney taking the rest of the spring off isnt shocking at all. he took the LSU and UF games off this year. he will show up till the uga game and then disappear till clemson and the bowl game

DLine is going to be pretty good this season with Surratt and Kelcey Quarles in the middle and Clowney and Sutton at both ends and Phillip Dukes, the Dixon Brothers, Darius English, Deon Green, et al, in their backup roles.

Meh, I would hold him out too for the spring game. What's he have to prove? It will give us more looks at the younger guys and see who will have a shot at making the 2 deep going into summer/fall camp.
It was still good to hear Ward say that if this was a real game situation that Clowney would play though, but I understand why risk it.

My grandson is lazy on the links. He fails to take the game seriously. He likes the expensive clubs, the expensive shoes, the clothes the girls around the clubhouse at the pool and the tennis court and he likes the country club lifestyle ... but he doesn't like to do what it takes to become a good golfer - and he is wasting his natural ability and my money.
Anyways, I am in trouble with my wife and daughter for scaring his little arse last night, but I'll bet he bears down and scores better this afternoon by gosh.
My son is only a year older than my grandson and my son, at 14, is already 12 handicapper. He approaches the game the way it is supposed to be played.
