It is delusional to think these players are signing 100's of items for sleazy fat middle aged brokers out of the kindness of their hearts or "for the love of the game". The only difference between Johnny and some of these other star players is he is more famous and has a bigger target on his back...and SUPPOSEDLY it was filmed without his knowledge. Back when he allegedly did this (pretty sure he did), he had no clue what a f-ing celebrity he would be by now or just how big that target would be.

You should take comfort in the fact that nothing will happen to Clowney, but you have your head in the sand if you think a lot of big players are just signing a sh*tload of autographs for randoms creeps for free out of the kindness of their hearts.

Maybe i have just lived here so long I don't fully appreciate what we have in Georgia. No doubt, the Savannah area, and North Georgia mountains can be special. I live too close to Atlanta, which is anything BUT special!

They're not. They're signing stuff for people standing in lines for autographs. Those people are either paid to stand in the lines by the broker, or decide to sell the stuff to the broker afterwards.

Except, according to sources, in Manziel's case.

it's delusional that yall are comparing the two situations as one and the same.

as of right now, its a few hundred items that could possibly be from numerous signings to a few bulk signings of several hundred to a thousand at a time. with several brokers saying they paid him. with a video of the broker asking to pay more for more stuff. with johnny telling him not to say anything.

So yes its delusional to compare the two situations and say they are one and the same

Evidence for Manziel:
1) Hundreds of sequentially authenticated autographs...check
2) Photographs of him signing items in hotel room...check
3) Broker claiming he paid player...check (only after ESPN dispatched Schad to chase down facts)
4) Hard evidence or money trail...nope

Evidence for Clowney:
1) Hundreds of sequentially authenticated autographs...check
2) Photographs of him signing items in hotel room...check
3) Broker claiming he paid player...tick, tock, tick, tock
4) Hard evidence or money trail...nope

#1 was discovered last night
#2 within the last hour,
#3 Schad has not yet had time to "investigate" as this is all breaking news on Clowney

Again....keep your head in the sand, or look the other way, but the exact same evidence used to persecute Manziel is now piling up on other player.

Don't be so naive.

So we have multiple people saying they paid him. Do we have multiple signings of hundreds to more than a thousand at a time? when that happens you can say they are the same

Why is it that my username bugs LSU fans so much? I typed it that way on purpose. I can give you a back story if you would like.

Doesn't mean they were signed at the same time, just authenticated together

That video ESPN didn't buy will get out eventually. Someone will pay for it.

Why would he single out Manziel and not the others?

I don't know if I have ever seen a case of blatent unwillingess to accept mounting evidence.

Sequential autographs and pictures of signing in hotel rooms were considered solid evidence in the early stages of investigation against Manziel.

Now USCe fans are saying that the same evidence does not apply to the early investigation of Clowney.

It was only after the the autographs were discovered, that Schad met with brokers to further investigate and uncovered the hotel photos and the claim of a $7,500 payment.
