No way to spin it.....until FSU, CANES and to an extent VT, UVA, UNC or NCST wake up the ACC is pathetic.

It would be like an UGA playing in the SEC and UT or VANDY being its toughest game.

Stick to the fact that Bama has an embarrassing joke of an OOC schedule. You aren't going to convince anyone in the country outside of South Carolina that Clemson has to wake up for more than 2 to 3 games a year. Frankly it lowers Clemson's accomplishments. Win 2 or 3 actual football games and you are a champion.

You know that this would be funny, except in comes from an LSU fan that is playing Northwestern State from the Southland conference. That just last week got beat 33-7 by a Division 2 program from the mighty Lone Star conference.

There is a simple solution to your Alabama obsession. Beat them! This year looks like a golden oppty. You've got what many are calling the best team in America against a young, crippled Bama. You even have the new golden boy, Heisman hotshot QB with an incomparable dynamic coach running a space age offense in this Brady. It's all came together at one time and seriously I can see Orgeron hoisting the trophy in Jan. So rejoice, get happy. Best coaching, best players. Fading Bama.

It’s crazy how tough the SEC is compared to other conferences.

LSU just beat the best team in the BiG 12

We have more playoff-worthy teams in the SEC than the rest of the country combined

Alabama's got it rough, it has to face a team (Tenn) it has beat 15 straight times and LSU that it has beat 8 straight times.

Tell us which team Clemson plays that could beat LSU.

Crap....Clemson's whole schedule is filled with Tennessee like teams out side of......wait for it....the SEC team they played.

ACC!ACC!ACC!

Or one of the 4 top 20 teams we play. You see, we go outside the East and find good teams to play.

#7 Notre Dame
#9 Florida
#8 Auburn
#16 A&M

To Clemson's credit, they went out and got A&M on their schedule. Everybody knows Clemson is good. It's just poor optics to not have a tougher schedule. When the #16 team in the country is your toughest game....and only ranked team you play...

Clemson's played ranked teams in ACC titles games 3 out of the 4 past years. Miami goes to the playoffs that year if they beat Clemson.

Since Alabama beat Clemson like a rented mule (24-6) and Clemson beat Miami 38- 3, how do you think Miami would have fared in the playoffs if they had won?

Miami's record was an aberration. A mirage caused by a weak ACC.

Right now I could say Alabama, LSU and Georgia are playoff worthy. Maybe Auburn if they improve a bit.

That said, Auburn would easily be the best team not named Clemson in the ACC.

The answer is none...

Talking about this crap means nothing.

You guys need to quit trying to invite ways to diminish Clemson, it's not working. They would beat Georgia by 3 td's. How does that make you feel?

Give credit where credit is due and your Clemson team is a great team and by far the best team in the ACC.

You can argue all day the ACC is tougher than the SEC but they are not close at all.

There is at least 6 teams in the SEC that would win the ACC championship if you take Clemson out. BAMA, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Auburn and A&M.

There is only 1 team in the ACC that could compete for the SEC championship and for sure your Clemson team can.

They could lose to 1 of those cream puffs and still get in. Remember, Bama did the same the year Auburn beat them.

SEC fans are the most unaware I've ever seen. Tennessee lost to Georgia St. and Ole Miss of the mighty SEC west lost to Memphis. I don't think the ACC has a loss to a non P5 this year.

Florida barely beat Miami who finished mid pack in the Coastal last year. Saying they would win the ACC is laughable. Texas A&M has done nothing to suggest they'd win the conference either.

I'll give you the big 3 in the West plus UGA. I think everybody knows the SEC is strong at the top but after that it's the same as every other conference.

It’s irrelevant how bad the bottom two teams are. What matters is the top 6 or 7 teams would run through the ACC with the only exception being Clemson and there are at least 3 teams in the SEC that could potentially beat Clemson this year, 4 if A&M had any resemblance of an offense.

"the top 6 or 7"

Wow that number keeps growing. We'll see how all these "contenders" start doing when they face Alabama. Remember they won every regular season game by at least 3 TD's last season and then got smashed by Clemson.

So the SEC team with the biggest 2019 win beat that best team from the Big 12? I’d buy that.

Until the SEC actually gets 3 teams into the CFP,
that is only your wet dream & not reality.

I can honestly say that Wake Forest is a legit team, their QB Newman is the real deal, dual threat that can actually throw the ball well. Newman is always throwing to Surratt who is uncoverable. They beat N Carolina last night and were ahead 21-0 at half.

But of course I agree the acc is nowhere as good as the SEC. Noles and Canes are down. BTW don't diminish the close win UF had over miamuh...that's a rivalry full of venom. acc doesn't have near the fan support that the SEC has, not even close.
