How many teams from the SEC West or East could win that ACC division that Clemson is not in?

You're delusional.

Florida struggled with Miami and South Carolina has lost recently to Virginia and UNC.

ACC teams have held their own against the SEC for about a decade now.

Nothing but hype and wishful thinking would make you say that many teams could win a division in the ACC.

I'll give you 4....the big 3 in the West and UGA. Past that there's nothing to brag about.

Start beating FSU consistently and then you can brag about your conference. You've lost 7 of the last 9 to them.

Louisville has had the edge on Kentucky and of course Clemson owns South Carolina. Even GT has won a couple over UGA the past 5 years.

When the ACC and SEC actually meet on the field recently, the ACC has had the upper hand.

The ACC is always bad, but this season looks like a whole different level of bad. I can't even begin to rank the teams below Clemson.

The Acc has won 3 of the last 6 national championships. That's more than any other conference. Also we won all 3 beating Sec teams. The fact of the matter is the Sec wants to claim they are the best but you can't totally validate being the best when you keep losing to Acc teams. The iron sharpens iron quote don't work when you go up against the Acc and lose. I guess the Acc iron sharpNeed Day and Clemson to be great also. Bottom line if you are good you are good no matter what conference you are in.

You're right. Outside of Clemson, the ACC is a hammered bag of dog shite. The fact that some posters are trying to validate that the ACC is up there with the SEC is just plain stupid. Majority of Clemson fans will tell you that the ACC is hammered dog shite and they could care less about the rest of the conference.

Two very good points. It’s not Clemson’s fault and second if you lose to one of them you could be done. A loss to A&M I don’t think would have hurt playoff chances. Lose to what’s left you may or may not be in.

There is at least 6 teams in the SEC that would win the ACC championship if you take Clemson out. BAMA, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Auburn and A&M.

So you are saying those teams could not beat Clemson.

I didn't see much from Auburn and Texas AM so far. Texas AM couldn't score against a young defense.

Auburn's offense wasn't lighting it up against Oregon which probably isn't very good on defense.

BC lost last night b/c they were tired from their win over an ACC team Virginia Tech. The Grind.

Acc 3 of the last 6 and all 3 championships beating Sec teams. That's all that matters. In 50 years from now when our grandkids will look back at who won the championship it's not going to matter who has the best conference but they will surely see who has the best team. Acc just keep winning championships. That's all that matters.

And some of us just acknowledge facts.

The ACC has a winning record on the field in the CFP era vs the SEC. The conference has dominated rivalry weekend lately.

Yea if you listen to the talking heads and look at the rankings you would believe there is a huge gap, but if you look at the results on the field there is no gap at all.

So far only Auburn and LSU have decent OOC wins for the SEC. Way too early to be judging the strength of conferences.

I’ll also add that we don’t know much about Texas or Oregon either.

It doesn't matter. We are still the best team in the nation. If you don't like it then send your best team to the playoffs and do something about it.

I love how your dumbass picks the most irrelevant statistics to deflect from
The suckage and absolute silver platter that a playoff spot is served up to Clemson. The ACC is the worst conf possibly in the history of the playoff era and possibly BCS era.

The fact Alabama rarely loses in a conference you describe as incredibly talented and competitive is a relevant statistic.

you would lose more if the teams were really good.
