Here is the pylon cam angle of texas am's fumble. looks like it goes into end zone to me. the ball was headed to the sideline but it gets hit again into the end zone.
i agree that is a stupid rule. keep in mind I'm the guy who came out against loss of possession on fumbles, especially ones where players on defense hack at the hands of the player on offense, on here 2 years ago and I was mocked viciously.

how many non SEC people know about SEC media day.

if the player hangs onto the ball, it is never an issue.
in my view, texas am not getting a TD there was a good thing cuz you ended up getting one later, with less than a minute on the clock.
if texas am gets the 2 point conversion, good chance it goes to overtime.
i thought with Mond, a 2 point conversion was almost automatic..surprised they didn't run him.

The clemson players seem well informed

but I think A&M beat them in every statistical category except the 2 pt loss.
1st Downs
A&M - 25
Clemson - 14
Total yards
A&M - 501
Clemson - 413
Passing Yards
A&M - 430
Clemson - 298
Rushing Yards
Clemson - 115
A&M - 71
Turnovers
A&M - 2
Clemson - 0
Time of Possession
A&M - 33:52
Clemson - 26:08
A&M outgained Clemson 393 to 197.
Clemson scored 7 points on the drive after one A&M fumble...and we all know the result of the 2nd A&M fumble.
Those two turnovers and a missed 29 yard field goal were the difference between a 28-26 A&M loss and a 37-21 Texas A&M win.

You need to see an Ophthalmologist if you think that ball went out of the endzone. Refs blew that call. But one call doesnt make or break a game. Its a big "what if" to some Ags, but 10 months later...oh well.

from a clock standpoint.
if you change one play in the game, it seems like the plays that follow would also be different.
Perhaps Clemson scores again in the 4th.
keep in mind texas AM was down 21-6 until 4 minutes left in the 3rd.
