Clemson's starting QB was hurt and knocked out of game in both of the Syracuse games.
Dungey was one of the best QBs of the last 5 years but was often injured.
The backup Clemson QB made clutch plays in 4th to beat Cuse.

lol yeah u just casually rode over to bars in Clemson from Sugar Land texas.
i could see Finebaum being pretty entertaining for Clemson fans b/c of the weird excuses for Alabama.
i don't even think about the title game despite being a Clemson grad yet these sports talk shows keep analyzing it.

On the 15th of September the Dores travels to South Bend and lost a game they should have won with the loss not being administered by the Irish but by the refs for the game who seemed determined got let the Irish win at home.

Last year was one of the worst years ever in college football across all conferences.
that UGA team is nowhere near a contender for playoffs in normal year.
think about this, Clemson probably beat the 3 best passing teams in the SEC and still won despite giving up a lot of pass yardage.
hard to believe teams like Kentucky and Miss State and Florida going to beat Clemson last year. lol

Forgot about that, that is an even worse look for them. Really makes you wonder how bad it would be for Clemson with an SEC schedule.

True Story.
The early loss to an unranked Vanderbilt at home would have finished their CFP run early.
Refs were not going to let that happen. I get bad for the Vandy players when they realized they would not be allowed to win.

I'm not bitter about it, it's just what happened. I have no dog in that hunt.
I also called the A&M incomplete against LSU a fumble. Because that's what it was.
If you can't handle getting a lucky break, that's your issue.

Easy for him to say what he said six months and ten days later, in a hotel conference room, sipping on iced tea, instead of punting from midfield with 10 minutes to go, trailing by 28, or praying for Dabo to take a knee with first down at the five, 35 seconds and two timeouts in Santa Clara.
