Then your view is stupid.

When the ball was fumbled out of the endzone, the clock read 2:13 and Clemson got the ball at the A&M 20.

At that point, A&M had two timeouts left.

Let's assume for a second that Davis scores instead of fumbling and that A&M still misses the 2PC.

It would then be 28-26 with 2:13 left. With Braden Mann on kickoffs, Clemson gets the ball at their own 25 with 2:13 left and A&M having 2 timeouts.

Clemson STILL would need to get a first down to seal the game. Assuming A&M forces a 3 and out, they would only need to reach the Clemson 25 for a potential game-winning field goal with just over a minute left.

wouldn't texas am need to convert a 2 point play regardless?

in my view, a better team converts a 2 point conversion in the clutch, especially at home in the biggest stadium in college football.

ya'll had a good running QB, great RB, and big WRs. ya'll got intercepted plus had a holding penalty on that play.

Texas AM had at least 2 passes caught off of deflected balls and at least one sensational low probability catch in the game.

Mond probably should have been intercepted 2-3 times in that game.

That’s all well and fine there buddy, we came to your house with uncertainty at QB which most certainly affected the morale of the team and still won. We will see in the real Death Valley this year, TL and company will put on a clinic. Just ask Bammers.

Go Tigers!

i see Finebaum news on Tigernet. for example, the other day Booger told Finebaum SEC people need to stop making excuses for Alabama. Tigernet had a little article about it.

i don't have SEC network and don't know where to get him on the radio

you said SEC media doesn't talk about ACC but I know they talk about Clemson. I see them on Twitter all the time talking about how Clemson doesn't play anybody in ACC.

Historically, 2 point conversions are successful less than 30% of the time in all of football.

The game wasn't played in Ann Arbor.

Also missed a 29-yard field goal on the opening drive.

You should have had one drive called back on an offensive pass interference when your receiver literally grabbed the safety by his jersey and threw him to the ground while the ball was still in the air. Instead, it was a 50+ yard gain.

Your 2nd touchdown of the game was due to two defensive backs taking themselves out of the play at the same time. #21 (Charles Oliver, who was the starting corner on that side) will never see the field again.

Texas converted numerous 2 point conversions against LSU.

and LSU had the benefit of film on Texas under Jimbo that Clemson didn't have.

They had very close games against A&M and Syracuse early which I think would certainly count as the toughest games they had last year. Didn't Syracuse knock them off in 2017? Whatever the Orange is doing it certainly seems to work.

After the Syracuse game they just walked the dog on everybody else on their schedule though. USC put up a good fight and scored 35 but they still lost by 3 TDs.

They are probably going to go down as one of the best all around teams in college football for the modern era. Maybe not the absolute best, but they were certainly up there.
