Hey LSURep864 what’s your deal? You have a few posts in your past that you were a Clemson fan/student at one time?
Hmmm

That is correct.

The amount of creeping you did is also disgusting as well.

So you can trust that my opinions of Clemson are based on fact.

There is not a single nuclear plant anywhere in the world that dumps spent nuclear fuel directly into the environment. To do so would render the surrounding area uninhabitable for decades. Water from Lake Keowee is used for reactor cooling & hydroelectric generation; water from Lake Jocassee for hydro & pumped storage. South Carolina is heavily dependent on nuclear power though - I think we're either #1 or #2 among the 50 states in percentage of power generation derived from nuclear. But that has no effect on water quality.

how many downtowns have a 30' drop waterfall right off their Main Street with stone walkways in a beautiful park around it and a massive suspension bridge over it.

I’m originally from Sparkle City. I’ve been all over the US. Your observations are simply to trash talk and Clemson is no different than anywhere else. Have you ever actually been to Baton Rouge?

Yes. I’ve lived there and still love to visit. It’s one of a kind.

Down town Greenville is a bunch of over priced, cookie cutter, hipster restaurants like Tupelo Honey, over priced alcohol, with terrible minor league baseball. Falls Park is trash, homeless people, and not mention the dirty arse Reedy River.

False. Columbia is better in the same state.

I'd rather spend an afternoon in Laurens, Clinton or Newberry than Greenville, but I'm a fan of historic districts in Southern towns. I'd rather stroll downtown Camden than downtown Columbia.

why would Greenville have less history than those towns lol

Albert Einstein's son used to live in Greenville while working for Clemson. Albert came to visit him and gave speeches at Furman University which used to be located on the hill above the waterfall.

Because Greenville isn't a small town. It's an urban place now with horrible traffic and tons of sprawl. Same with Columbia.

That is must “I’m insecure about my university” fact I’ve ever heard.

it had nothing to do with Clemson.

i was responding to his implication that Greenville has no history.

a true history lover seeks and likes history everywhere

there's a guy who makes a living doing history tours in downtown greenville

Wait, Clemson is a place?

I thought that was just the name of the school.

Kind of like Rutgers.

Sheesh, must be a dump.

Are you on the spectrum or do you just lack basic reading comprehension skills? My implication wasn't that Greenville had no history, it's that it isn't a town. By any objective measure, Greenville is not a town. Same with Columbia, which is also mentioned in my prior post.
