Clemson's fans are the SJW's of college football. It's a neverending storm of virtue signaling with them about how they're the classiest and godliest people. They're mimicking the victim and martyr shtick of their cult leader coach and are absolutely insufferable to live amongst.

I love the music but hate the chant. It's unnecessary.
That said, they act as if their students and fan base are all living immaculate lives. I hate all of this holier than thou posturing.

The band doesn't play the full version of Tiger rag anymore either because students chanted "assholes" to part of it. We used to play another song leading up to kickoffs as well, stopped playing that because students chanted "you suck" during the song.
I'm honestly shocked they still play our geaux tigers cheer after first down because half the statdium says "kick their arse" instead of "lsu" at the end and the students thought it was hilarious to add "and beat the shite out of them" onto "kick their arse" because students are "hilarious"
The chants don't offend me but it does piss me off that our band has played certain songs for decades and now won't because of the student section. hey baby isn't played as much anymore either because students have chanted "won't you be my bitch" instead of "be my girl." The cursing isn't even done in a funny way

The band 100% did not play neck. The chant happened, but it was to Say Amen (It's Saturday Night) by Panic at the Disco.
I don't really know what else to say to someone who is so misinformed as the quoted individual. Not really worth arguing with someone like that.

The funny thing is, I have spent a some time in Louisiana in my 35 years on this Earth. I love the state and its unique culture. I cannot imagine judging the state and its most visible university based on a chant sung by drunk 18-22 year old students at a football game. But to read Tigernet, you'd think every LSU fan was a Cajun Pancho Villa because of it.
