I just googled... they had a 32 pt WIN vs a FBS team in 2013. South Florida.
In 2014, they lost at Nebraska, 31-24. Nebraska hit a 58 yd TD with 20 seconds left.
McNeese might not have done much in the past decade, but they used to be a good team (VERY good 1AA/FCS, and good overall regardless of level). In 1979, they beat Syracuse 46-13.
But yeah, it's something LSU is doing now, they play the instate schools, to spread around the money locally instead of getting cupcakes from outside. They get a payout to come into Tiger Stadium, and in return LSU gets extended scrimmage time for backups. Both sides know the deal.

No problem with letting a local school get a pay day. The problem the Aggies have had is that some of local chumps play really dirty.

I wouldn’t call it classless, but maybe next time they play a 30 min game or just not sign the contract
