greatest scorer of our generation

The get in the door price for their next game is currently sitting at $265 on Vividseats. Average is near $500.
I thought about flying up to see it just to be a part of it, but I ain’t paying $265 to get in.

Better scorer than Pete ever was.
Wonder how many points Pete would have scored if he put on a wig, and dressed like a “woman” and played against girls instead of men?

How many less shots will Clark have taken than Pete to break his former record? Pete probably shot twice as many shots as Clark.

such a weird comparison. They play different sports in different generations.

Pete didn’t have three point line. Lots of his shots were 25 footers. He was never on a very good team at LSU.

Imagine if Pete had a 3Pt line

Def trolling. Pete was before his time. Really do wonder how many he woukd had scored if he played with three point line.

I don't know. Pete played without a shot clock or a three point line, and couldn't play varsity as a freshman under the rules at the time. Oh, and he played against guys. You can argue that Clark also plays against guys, and I wouldn't disagree, but they're not as athletic as the guys Pete played against.

I’m a women’s hoops fan, as you all know, and I think it is retarded to compare Clark to Maravich. Pistol Pete is the men’s leader, Clark is the women’s leader. End of story.

I can get behind trolling LSU. But I can’t get behind this. Comparing Clark and Maravich is stupid.

I think these guys are “trolling” here. That’s where someone says something utterly stupid in order to provoke an emotional response.

Why? It took 50 years for someone to break this record. Probably won’t happen again in my lifetime. Being a part of history is pretty cool, IMO.

Yep, I’m sure the world wide leader in sports will talk about it nonstop and make sure she is known as the NCAA scoring leader.

If she wants to be the true all time leading scorer in women’s college basketball she needs to surpass Lynette Woodard who played for Kansas from 77-81(3,649 points).
Women’s basketball was governed by the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) until switching to NCAA the year she graduated. For some reason the NCAA recognizes AIAW wins and losses for teams and coaches, but not some of the other stats unless they played a couple of years as part of the NCAA.

How did you find this message board new member GratefulTideDye? There seem to be a lot of new members lately. Chicken must be doing a great job of marketing.
