Because I watch the game and saw an incredibly well prepared team and some truly stellar play calling. I also saw incredibly good efforts on defense.

Yes. One game. But they played extremely well.
You can't hire a coach based on one game, this dude was on the hot seat before this season. They didn't even win an SEC game last year.
They lost to Georgia State less than a month ago.

He went to Vanderbilt. He’s from Nashville. I don’t think he could be easily pried away.

As with any coaching hire it’s a crapshoot. Why not him?
Positive trajectory with a doormat program, obviously has been able to identify and hire reasonably good assistants.
With the right backing of an AD and BMDs, he would have a shot at building something.
It’s always a gamble, but it’s probably a good gamble for the right program.

It's a weird talking point.
BK is a career .731 coach, it's dumb to pretend he isn't good at this point. Elite? No, definitely good though.
At the same time, Rantards are touting Lea and his .293 win percentage.
