since 1950 LSU is the 6th ranked SEC team in victories

Only since Nick Saban came in 2000 and built the program has LSU been a consistent SEC contender. Rather than maroons like William Taylor dissing Saban, all LSU fans should be thankful for the guy.

To add on to this I'd say LSU's uncontested titles are 1958, 2003 and 2019. At this point LSU has more legitimate NCs than Tennessee does (post 1950 or post-integration).
1951 and 1998 are uncontested for Tennessee.

Fact: Sam Houston State University won a national title today.
Fact: State has no national titles.
Opinion: Tennessee's 1950 and 1967 national titles aren't "legitimate."

NCAA only recognizes 2 for Tennessee. Everybody thinks they have second most in the sec lol.

Auburn got screwed in ‘83; they played the toughest schedule in the nation and their only loss was to a top 5 team. That was a great team; they had Bo Jackson to go along with a great defense...

2004 wasn't that impressive of a season; that is why the voters and the computers did not give them a shot at the NC.

Finally, they scheduled Louisiana Tech, Louisiana Monroe, & Citadel all in the same season.
Impressive season? I don't think so, and not many voters did either.
