I think he’s a good coach. I’ve always wanted a coach that fast break / full court press minded. Someone like Pearl was when he was at Tenn. I’m not against the hire, just not someone I’m overly excited about.

They lost their relevancy years ago.
They have always been in the hip pockets of the Ole Miss hierarchy going back to the days of the Hederman brothers.
When Rick Cleveland was there, they were a bit more neutral but he has gone probably 15 years now and they are run about as well as the Russian army.
But this sinks them to even lower level of despicable.

Jans is a great coach. Did you see how close he played the Hogs? They easily could be in the sweet sixteen right now. And that's very impressive for a team like NMSU.

It's an upgrade to be sure, imo. Your team is going to play great defense. Jans builds a good culture too. His teams play hard and they play well.
