Meh.
Kelly is a 2x AP College Coach of the Year.
He appeared in the natty in his 3rd season at the P5 level, DeBoer did it in his 2nd. Both got dominated.
It's a very similar hire in a lot of ways.

I agree, that's the trade off you get with DeBoer being younger.
Each has their positives and negatives.
DeBoer has won a playoff game and Kelly hasn't, not really a big deal to me if you look at the matchups but it's a huge deal for Alabama fans.
