Boo. Leave the sec now. Turf on baseball field is even worse than it being on a football field.

Doesn’t make it less gay. And “but they’re doing it too” is always a good argument.

we had the good sense in 1975 to pour a giant slap of concrete where the field would be and jackhammering it all up is more trouble than it's worth apparently

Vandy has turf too, which is absurd. They are a great baseball program pumping money into the stadium and it's easy to grow grass in Nashville.

We’re only allowed to water the yard once a week in Austin.

We had bluegrass at one time. Field fell apart in November with cold wet weather. Went to Bermuda. Looked great till frost, then disintegrated in November. UK hosts all six classes of high school football championships. Six games in two games in late November.

Those are the reasons for going to turf. The technology has improved since the days of Astroturf.

So has grass and drainage technology. Kentucky could keep it together.

The packers have UV lights and an underground hearing system.

Costs about 30M.

The Giants have fake turf and swap out the end zones with the jets.
