What?
CWS by team

ut will yall be playing Saturday?
no but a nice run in tourney doesn't mean SC wasn't a 7 seed this year and first time they made tournament in 13 years. we are talking about programs, not seasons.
SC finished the season 3-6 against less talented teams.
is UGA playing?

that doesn't tell you anything about competitiveness from season to season.
i don't think anybody who follows college sports and isn't a SC fan boy or SEC cheerleader would say SC blows CLemson away in baseball and basketball.

No, but they were a 7 seed in the NCAA tourney, while Clemson was in the NIT along wit UGA who also got bounced in the first round of the NIT, but UGA is not the topic here.

We could win the whole damn thing and he won't give us any credit because we were a 7 seed and lost 10 games.

I'm also a believer in Muschamp and what he can do with SC football, which is make them a legit threat every year. I also believe they will hand Clemson a spanking this year.

Thank you for you interest in UGA and USC athletics. We understand you're highly interested into what a real SEC program looks like, but it seems all our operators are busy at the moment. Please try reaching out to us at FixUrDumpsterFireSchool@hotmail.com

Clemson won ACC last year. did SC win the SEC in baseball
truth is CLemson and SC even in all major sports except football and women's bball if u count that.
How many NC's has Clemson won in baseball? How many times has Clemson played in the NC game? The answer is zero. Matter of fact, Clemson is behind FSU in the most trips to the CWS without winning one. Wilhelm and Leggett had some great teams but never could get Clemson there. South Carolina on the other hand, has two NC's and was runner up 4 times. I know you will bring up what about recently. Well, South Carolina leads the series 13 to 11 since 2010 and that doesn't include the time we bounce their arse in the post season. Now in basketball, both teams have been fairly even in the years past but South Carolina making it to the final four surpasses what Clemson has done was a program. Heck, South Carolina has the same amount of ACC championships as Clemson does and South Carolina has been out of the ACC since '72. Now, Clemson is far more superior in football and soccer.

Clearly by how you post, you do not follow it well
Look, I will give Taters credit for their ancient history and success but now the Cocks have muscled up on SEC dollars and talent their days being your little brother are in the rear view mirror. While you may not believe this, I have watched it happen over the past 20 years and it will continue in the next 20 years. Just look at the curve.
Baseball pre SEC, Cocks have 0 CWS, now they have 2
T & F pre SEC, Cocks have 0 NCAA's, now they have 1
Equestrian pre SEC, Cocks have 0 Nattys, now they have 6
M basketball pre SEC, Cocks have 0 Final Fours, now they have 1
W basketball pre SEC, Cocks have 0 Final Fours, now they have 1 or 2
M soccer pre SEC, Cocks have 0 Runner Up's, now they have 1
Taters have a golf Natty from 2003 and 2 soccer Natty's from the 1980's so how exactly are you the more current of the two schools in sports?

The argument was "right now." As in this year.

ok, baseball is an old man sport anyway, and all the baseball players i met at Clemson were dumb redneck pricks. lol
i don' tthink two titles in baseball means SC is a superior program to Clemson. if you said it has been a little better the last 10 years or so, ok.
one nice run one season, as a 7 seed, doesn't make SC superior to Clemson as a program in basketball.

I'd say they're even more than anything.
Also love how it's "right now" for baseball but "overall program" for basketball
Right now or overall, were better in basketball. So...

means SC has two magical seasons with basically the same players. two seasons doesn't make a trend.
Clemson only has 2 national titles in fball. if SC were to win two national titles in next 20 years, it wouldn't be valid to say SC has been as good a program as Clemson in football over time. competitiveness in a sport isn't reduced to just how many national titles were won.
