Probably the same two that opted out against LSU.

Starting CB Rakestraw, been dealing with a groin issue all season is out after having surgery. Starting LB Hopper is also out, he had a high ankle sprain against Tennessee and hasn't played since. Both want to be as healthy as possible for NFL combine stuff

Not to draw the ire of my Missouri friends I think the big question isn't who is going to be on the field, it is whether or not Drinks will have them ready.

He did a tremendous job of coaching this year but as a bowl game coach he's been... lackluster. Before folks just get all a flutter about that, Houston Nutt was a fairly solid regular season coach but sucked diseased moose wang as a bowl game coach.

Some coaches come out flatter than the Kansas prairie in bowl games. Drinks might be in that group. If his team plays like they did at the end of the season they are a tough draw for anyone in the country.

The Missouri that finished the season I think can take the Buckeyes. The Missouri that has shown to their last couple of bowl games... not so much.

Per average elevation, Kansas is less flat than 3 SEC states. Stop this slander.

A reasonable conversation between opposing fans. Pleasantly surprised. Should be a highly entertaining game. Go Mizzou!

Do you have much depth on the defensive side?

This team will be up for Ohio State. This isn’t some 6-6 vs 6-6 bowl game scenario.

I'm obsessed enough to remember how damn good that '69 Missouri team was. They lost a tight game against Colorado, and got beat in the bowl in a defensive struggle against Penn State. But they pretty much beat up on everybody else.

Bailey has missed most of the season too. So both our starting LBs being out and losing an NFL corner hurts.

It is what it is.

Yes, but one of our backup LBs has been inconsistent at times. He has games he plays well, but that Florida game he looked totally lost.

I have not heard if MHjr is playing or not. He is still undecided about going pro but I believe he will as he should.

I agree, he'd be crazy not to go right now. If he does go pro, he'll probably opt out, I would think. That would leave you without Harrison and Fleming, not to mention your QB. Would be very tough...although your defense seemed to be very good this year.

Good luck to both teams.
