Losing to Ohio State in the 2014 season was inexcusable.
The team with Ryan Shazier, Mike Thomas, Zeke Elliot, Eli Apple, Joey Bosa, Darron Lee, Devin Smith, Urban Meyer, and Tom Herman?

Hell yeah IN
Not only did we blow football but we also blew a 1-0 lead in the CWS finals back when to Fresno State...

In some girl from Notre Dame threw up a last second off balanced 3 pointer to wreck our ladies NC dreams. WBB counts for State fans.

don't remember, did the Dan Marino TD pass in the last minute of the Sugar Bowl cost the Georgia Bulldogs? They were either #1 or #2 going into that game but I'm not looking it up.
That was the ‘82 Sugar Bowl. Didn’t cost UGA anything because they’d lost to Clemson who went on and won a title. The 1983 Sugar Bowl loss to Penn State cost Georgia a national title. An argument can also be made that the el presidente cost UGA a legitimate shot at another by luring HW into the USFL early (then juniors could not declare for NFL draft).
The 1983 team, sans HW, went 10-1-1, with a 13-7 loss to Auburn in a game in Athens with no offense since they had no tailback for Dooley to run into the ground. I had the sad now.

While this is the sec rant I’ll go ahead and check in for a few occasions.
I would usually disallow Texas to join in such a thread, but since misery loves company we accept your heartbreaks as well.

2007 Women's College World Series
Beat Arizona in the 1st game. Stranded 14 runners on base in a 1-0 loss in 10 innings in game 2. Wound up being routed in game 3.

We lost two, but we kinda got beat straight up
So out I guess?
People citing the 2011 football team are just hurt; that was 21-0, and we were never in that game. It was painful to watch, but not "blown in an incredible way".
Baseball 2017, same thing. For all the pressure we put on Fla in game 2, we lost game 1 and never led the second game. We always assume if we took that game we'd have crushed it in game 3, but the truth is, we were swept 2-0.
We were on the winning end with Morris' HR, that was a walkoff with 2 outs in the 9th and down 1, by a player with zero HR's that season, facing an All-American pitcher.
LSU has lost some last second hearbreakers, but not in championship games.

That's one good thing about losing 62-24. Can't blow it if the game is over before halftime.

I blame Lawrence Phillips. He should've been kicked off the team earlier in the season.
