That’s not true. Our Net wouldn’t be 6 and RPI in top 35 if that was true

Your RPI is 42, SOS 261, and 7/10 games are against Q4 teams.

That said, computer rankings at this point in the season are worthless

Although they are 7-0 in quad 4 they do have 2 quad 1 wins. Presuming that is Marquette and Utah but not sure.

Tough game against a 1-9 Jackson State team tonight. Schedule has not been very difficult but wins over Marquette, Utah, Akron, Minnesota are solid. Playing a decent Drake team Tuesday on the road.
Then play Bama on the 28th.
Are we the 6th best team in country? No
The 17th best? Probably not.

But this team has been refreshing to watch because of their relentless effort. We have decent talent but not a lot of offense to this point. We are winning games ugly with defense and more defense.

So we will see how things progress.

Everybody plays a lot of scrubs outside of the non-conference tournaments.

SEC is going to be a meat grinder this year, feels like we’ll drop quite a few games but still be good.

Not everybody, but way too early in the season to really worry about it.

LSU and Missouri actually lead the conference in Q4 game, and lowest sos

Nobody has even broken 60 points on this team. We shoot like boo-boo but we defend like our hair is on fire.

Haven’t lost a game in years.

Oh, wait. You probably meant my team.

My bad.

I was at this game tonight and for the first 3/4 of the game State played like shite. When down by 5 w 7? 6? minutes to play they said oh shite we might lose to a shitty JSU team and started to actually play ball.

I have a kid at State and love college BB so I go to a lot of their games. This year’s team is so much better than what I’ve watched in the two previous seasons. It’s gonna be very interesting to see what they can do under Jans.

Oh, and the pre-game Mike Leach tribute and moment of silence was poignant. I hate that word and don’t like to use it, but it’s really the best word to describe it. Good job State.
I’ll probably go to his memorial on Tuesday.
