Clemson's off to a good start with 4 in a row over Auburn. lol
it is gonna be a LONG time before Auburn plays Clemson again. their fanbase wants their AD to schedule cupcakes instead.

That’s irrelevant. Tell me more about how you’ve been against UGa.
Posted on 12/16/18 at 8:48 pm to JackTraven
uga and Clemson haven't played much the past 50 years or so
basically all the SEC schools built their winning record against Clemson in the segregation era so there is a * next to all of that

The current record: 42-18.

Fun fact that UGA fans leave out though from Wikipedia:
Georgia leads the series 42–18–4, with 42 games played in Georgia, and 22 games played in South Carolina. Since 1987, the two schools have played intermittently.
Clemson often had to play on the road to play teams like UGA and G Tech back in the day. that's b/c it was a Citadel type program then.

why do we prefer sheep in particular.
it seems like cows and horses are more common or even goats in the Clemson area.

Hm, you should have caveated your thread to say “check in if your team has a winning record aganinst Clemson under circumstances that are dictated by me”
But, go ahead and try to whitewash 42-18.
Also, Georgia is on a 1 game win streak.

i'm not tryint to whitewash given I have pointed out numerous timeso n here Clemson has a losing record against most or many P5 programs.
my point is Clemson has basically been two very different universities.

Clemson isn't an 'ag school'.
Lol what? Clemson is a Morrill Land Grant school. That literally makes it an ag school, historically.
The original name of Clemson was Clemson Agricultural College of South Carolina.

land grant universities offer more than agricultural colleges...
land grants were tasked with offering practical programs rather than liberal arts type programs. practical isn't limited to agriculture.
land grants have also been offering liberal arts programs for decades now.
there are very few majors that SC offers at undergrad level that Clemson does not.

There really isn't anything to be ashamed of when talking about Clemson's history in agricultural education. A lot of schools were ag schools at the beginning.

Ok, so if the home and homes were evened out you would only suck bad against UGA and not really bad as it is.

i'm not ashamed of it...the point is it isn't accurate to describe Clemson as a 'ag college' today.

well your wins over Clemson match up exactly with the number of games played in Georgia against Clemson.
The series is 11-7-1 in favor of UGA since 1977 and obviously UGA avoided playing Clemson during some of its best years in that stretch.

I never said today. It also isn't accurate to describe Clemson as a military school today, but you have repeatedly gone there.

Hey Tillman..speaking of those "stellar" admission standards you brag about...did you know Brian Dawkins did an interview on ESPN recently and said he originally wanted to be a Gamecock but could not qualify academically so he went to Clemson?
