Got ya. Would you rather do NIT E8 than win a game then lose in the NCAAT?

I honestly wonder because some folks would seem to really rather have a good NIT run to NYC than be a 11 seed that loses round 1.

Maybe it's all the close but no cigar NITs we've been to the last 10 years, but I just don't feel that way at all. All I cared about in the NIT was if we got an interesting matchup or the rare "momentum" team that was young (State this year would fit that mold).

Of course he would. MSU is in the NIT E8.

Ask this when MSU makes it past the first round of the NCAAT, and the answer will be different.

(Props to anyone who can name who won the NIT champion last year without looking it up)

I'd rather be nailing that chic for a sixth time.

Honest question, you'd rather be waiting to play in the 2nd round of the NIT over losing in the 2nd round of the NCAAT?

George we haven't made the postseason in 6 years. So playing in the quarterfinals of the NIT is a much more exciting feat than sitting at home.

Well it's TCU. But that's because I was in Dallas for the Women's Final Four that weekend and the news brought it up.

LSU was eliminated from winning the national championship via a loss against Mississippi State in St Louis

Well, our guys are playing pickup games at the gym still, so technically not eliminated.

The entire SECr appears to have a short fuse today. It's a good day for triggering.
