2001 Hurricanes would probably end up getting embarrassed by the likes of 2019 LSU, 2020 Bama, 2021/2022 UGA.
Hell I'd take 3 out of the 4 of the playoff teams any given year to whip their arse going all the way back to 2014.
The game and the athletes involved have simply evolved and a team that far back would get shell-shocked by modern offenses without really having much to offer that today's defenses wouldn't know how to address
