That team has won a National Championship in 2010 & played for one in 2013. That team also has 2 SEC Championships in 4 year period.

Texas was 6-7 last year. So they're going to have to win 2 more games this year to be like Auburn.

8-5 is way beyond Texas' expectations this year.

Breaking even is turning the corner.

Alright Charley, heres a what ya gotta doo.

1. Create the illusion all UT fans are grads
2. Develop a cycle of a great team every 4 years
3. Get some alums to pay former A&M players to lie about violations at A&M
4. Put up a scorebaord you can read from the moon (optional)
5. Have subtle changes to your uniform but claim it never changes
6. Get the Texas state house to FORCE A&M to play you every year.
7. Perpetuate the myth that all alums of UT are non-redneck types but don't respond when somebody asks you "do you believe your own bullS*^%"?
8. Exchange losses with LSU and UGA every year.
9. Take the attitude, to hell with how many points the opponent scores, we'll just score more.

Have fun on that roller coaster, Texas fans.

5-7, 8-5, 14-0, 8-5, 3-9, 12-2, 8-5...

you also went 3-9 and 8-5 during that time frame, as well as going 8-5 the year before and the year after. your average for the best 4 years in your programs history is 9.25-4. Auburn is an 8-5 program in its very bones, no shame in that. accept it

The second sentence is an admission of being 2nd rate in their state. I don't think I've ever witnessed that sort of admission from Texas ever.

That would seem to be sweeter to aggies than anything to do with AU.

Math is fun. This is by percentages before you cry about games taken away.

Since 1970:

Auburn 8.84-4.16
Bama 9.42-3.58

1980:

Auburn 8.93-4.07
Bama 8.91-4.09
