But the fact remains, there is nothing to substantiate claims.
And it takes away nothing from the fact that all the players in Auburn's last cheating episode are still prominent on the plains and there is an investigation ongoing and that accusations have come from multiple news organizations, individuals and Auburn's own former players.

Hold your breath till it happens please.
Wait, nevermind, I have to get my AU news from somewhere.

Really? A Tide fan said this?

No it's actually quite comical you are so obsessed with Auburn.

No one, not even the news outlets that you talk about ever said that Auburn paid for, or even offered to pay for Cam. It was all about Miss State, everyone else made up the rest of the rumors and have convinced themselves that it has to be true.
well when the father of the recruit admits to asking for money and more recently says something to the effect of "whatever they find that's what happened"... that does leave people with the impression that he asked for money and got it at Auburn
Proving that is something else - maybe they never will
No one outside of Auburn really thinks MSU was the school that came away smelling funny from that recruitment

Didn't realize you were present to everything that happened between Auburn, the NCAA, Chizik, and the Newtons behind the scenes.
You do know more goes on than what you read on al.com, right?

I don't think anyone has made SPECIFIC allegations regarding Auburn paying Cecil or Cam. Cecil DID, however, get caught in a lie about soliciting a payment for his son and that was later admitted by Cecil himself.
As for other allegations, what about 4 Auburn player actually going on HBO and admitting to receiving improper benefits. Auburn fans would be losing their s### in fits of glee and sending packets left and right to the NCAA if those were Alabama players. I can't even imagine the reaction on ITAT. Yet Alabama fans for the most part have exercised an incredible amount of restraint and common sense once that revelation became public. I can't even begin to imagine the ITAT jerk fest if the exact same HBO show happened the exact same way except with Alabama being the focus.

I'm not going to get into the HBO4 guys. I believe that some of that shite probably happened, which would help support your case for stupid boosters around the Auburn program, why in the hell would you give out money to them guys?????

If he had investigated it thoroughly as they claimed, do you really think he'd have defended Cecil and called him good people at a press conference?

Don, there are 4 (FOUR) former AU players that spilled the beans for everyone to see. They detailed the numerous infractions while they were playing at AU. One of them even said he went to a coach's freakin office to pick up his money.
There is a former AU coach that detailed the payoff system that he inherited when he arrived at AU. (He too was controlled by one little man that is STILL running your finances.)
There is so much out there that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Newton's ~

Call him a POS? Yeah, that sounds just like Chizik. You obviously know a lot about him.
Good call.

I think you've kinda become like other fans now, in that you don't blindly defend. You've got some sense about ya. Try to avoid Matt and Joey, they will drag you to the dark side and because meaning is sometimes lost in the written word, understand that most negative things I post are with sarcasm and to rile the moronic folks.

You mean the 4 disgruntled former players who are all in need of money because their football careers didn't work out??
And why do you have to spell out FOUR next to the number 4? You really think people here don't know what 4 means?

Clearly, he didn't have any evidence too, because it was clear he didn't ask or investigate and only went.. yo, Cam, did yall do it? No? Pure Garbage! Good family, let us pray.

Lying about investigating, defending someone he knew nothing about, or claiming something was garbage when he had no clue?

It's usually the disgruntled ones that end up busting a program. See the SMU case. Heck, a pissed off "disgruntled" high school assistant coach blew the lid off the Albert Means case. A former disgruntled Alabama player who was bankrolled by Auburn boosters to lie about violations at Alabama helped add to the negative perception of Alabama in the Langham case

Chizik hasn't said anything bad about anyone publicly. He still defends Cam and the Newtons, even now.
Put continue on your flaming. It's all you have.
