Jimbo not going to be happy. Losing another assistant coach due to FSU's poor arse support of that program and the refusal to give Jimbo money to pay his assistant coaches.

Based on what he saw this season?

It was pretty clear to everyone that watched the games the system wasn't the problem, it was the QB play from JJ, the WRs dropping balls, and questionable play calling in critical situations. Take out half of those mistakes in those areas, AU is in a totally different position. The fact still remains, the offense had players in place, they just sucked it up.

FSU is poor.

FSU has the 7th highest paid coaching staff in the country but obviously we are behind the SEC powers.

Kelly is still an unproven DC. I don't think Jimbo will be losing any sleep if Kelly leaves.

Oh, and:

So much for FSU's poor support narrative.

I believe that was before receiving their SEC Network payout.

SECN money will make that chump change. ACC should be concerned. SEC is getting flush with cash while only Clemson and FSU are carrying the water for the ACC.

Maybe, but Muschamp is going to have a hard time finding that very good dual threat QB to come to USC to run that offense effectively.

Okay

It still doesn't change the fact that your spending $5,300,000 on staff salaries (More than Bama) for the honor of not being ranked.

Also, I don't understand why the SEC has dipped in the FSU coaching pool so much. Michigan St and Missouri pay less than FSU and yet SEC doesn't touch them.

Why? I guess Auburn is throwing another shite ton of money at the symptom and not the problem.

It's baffling some don't realize, in terms of accounting, you have years in the red. It doesn't necessarily signify something is wrong. Expenditures occasionally outpace revenue, especially with new construction and contract requirements.

OP, if this is Germans, sorry, I missed it then. But was Boom leaving The Plains due only to his leaving to go to S.Carolina or was it more a matter of a lack of compatibility between he & Gus?

The truth is Gustav was physically terrified of William.
