the same reason any thread is started with negative news about a player/team. Did you expect a State fan to start this or a fan of a non-rival school to be paying attention enough to start one? It's why the "obsessed" comments are always ridiculous to me.

where did you read that? the victim starting it doesn't change anything unless he claims self-defense, which he didn't. Her lying on the ground getting beaten by two people kind of defeats that as well. her "starting it" by making a verbal attack doesn't change anything. assault is still assault.

It's making the rounds everywhere. His sister was taking an asswhooping and he stepped in to help her. Instead of taking a couple of swings- he should have broken it up- but he didnt. He has apologized and we will see what happens from here.
This is the only post about this that will be allowed on the Board- the video will not be allowed on the Board. Thanks

Well, he was a 5* player that was a strong Ole Miss lean Monday before signing day.
Ole Miss was having a great signing day. Simmons would have sealed an amazing class, however he ended up choosing State. The way it played out, it was either a last minute ($$$) switch or a well planned troll job. It did not seem right.
TL:DR - Rivalry, LSU would not understand.
