Please link one story where another program not only excused disgusting behavior (murder, domestic violence, etc) but had leadership publicly singing the player’s praises? It’s fricking weird how Alabama’s athletic program and fanbase has zero empathy for the victim. Just blatant defense of their “ball players” who are just “good ole boys who don’t know no wrong.”
I have not defended Brandon Miller’s actions other than discussing the legal aspect of why he hasn’t been charged with any crimes. I hate that someone lost their life in such a senseless way. It’s awful and tragic. However, I don’t see why an old story about a former football player has any relation to the Brandon Miller situation.

What do you expect Bama fans to do? Just pile on with everyone else? You would be going to bat for whatever school you pull for too.

Incorrect Tyler. I for one think Miller should no longer be at Alabama. We all know the reason he is playing is due to the awesome season Alabama is having and he's the main reason for it. Miller chose to hang out with low lifes off the court and his association with them after they murdered someone is too much for most people to believe he was just an innocent bystander from a moral sense.

or because he isn't in any legal trouble, and is being considered a "cooperating witness."

Don't be naive. Florida cut a QB recruit for a rap lyric. He also was in no legal trouble and was cooperating.

Bama has had their share of Jimmy Johns... But if I recall correctly. Convenient that the rest of the story was left out.if I remember correctly... Both Upshaw and the woman were booked. She was hitting him he pushed her..TPD saw it from the other side of a parking lot.... Brought both by in. Again.. Kinda of a theme that TPD doesn't care about your all American awards

Stop grouping our guys in with your thug murderers.
Too much Bama in you.

The fact they had to go back 13 years only underscores how clean a program Alabama runs

The guy might be okay and internal handling is fine but saying stuff like this is just stupid. So Nick is saying this guy is the best of the best? Who is the worst?

If I recall correctly, his girlfriend slapped him so he pushed her down. The girlfriend was the instigator, but they arrest both parties in a DV incident in Alabama.

Went back 13 years, just to show an incident where the player was arguably the victim.

Brian Kelly was directly involved in a young person's death.

Glad you didnt say Florida…
As for the Bama Standard I am surprised the Cam Robinson/Hootie Jones arrests for weed burning in a parked car in a public park at 2AM and possession of quantity of weed with a stolen handgun (potential felony) in the car… no suspensions, all charges dropped.
Just a big ol misunderstanding…

Depends on the nature of the trouble. Doubt anyone but Bama and UGA go as far as we’ve seen lately.
