Thanks for being Arkansas, Arktards

Only a homer Auburn fan would be dumb enough to think Arkansas did something wrong by firing Morris

Arkansas's OC Kendal Briles is miles ahead of Morris. I expect Arkansas to have one of the top offenses in the league as long as he's there.

He recruited well here too. He was just an awful coach. You almost have to try to lose to WKU 45-19

Why didn't Muschamp get him? South Carolina have done a great job on defense and needed a very good OC. That is what puzzled me he went to Arkansas! That is mind boggling!

He had our O-line averaging 288 lbs by design. Our linemen were low rated about sucking, but they were undersized in any league thanks to chad.

College football is different than high school, chad couldn't grasp that while being in control.

Good luck to Auburn with his line of thinking.I'm glad he's not here.

Oh,and maybe your players will get to use club dub more than once....damn.

I'm sure some aubbies are gonna claim that Morris had no talent to work with. That may hold true when it comes to SEC play but it doesn't explain getting blown out by North Texas. By every conceivable measure we had more than enough talent to compete with North Texas if not reverse the score that day.

Lack of talent doesn't explain getting beat by San Jose State who had a walk on at QB. Doesn't explain almost going 0-2 vs. Colorado State if there starting QB doesn't get injured late in the game. Doesn't explain having to escape Portland State. Any coach who barely beats or loses to Portland State any season is garbage...... looking at you cowbells.

Lack of talent doesn't explain the QB who you told that he wasn't good enough - the QB that you overlooked because "Texass cruits are GOD" so you filled the QB room with a reject Aggie, a SMU interception machine, and Jerry Jones grandson - that little ol Arky QB Ty Storey walked into HIS home state and did what he didn't want to do while playing QB for Western Kentucky. Ty Storey destroyed us that day and for that we are thankful. Storey is our savior. Storey was an oncologist that day because he got rid of the cancer that is Chad Morris.

LACK OF TALENT DOESN'T CAUSE THIS:

I mean even Bielema could draw up a good fake once in a while:

Morris sucks so bad he makes Bielema look competent.

That's not to mention the multitude of pre-procedural penalties. Having players not know where to lineup. Running two players with the same number on the field. All easily fixed - things that were never a problem for any other coach at Arkansas - all due to coaching.

Good luck Auburn.

Pittman had to be beyond pissed when he saw the state of our offensive line room under Morris. We went from putting multiple linemen in the NFL to garbage. It wasn't long ago that Ragnow was getting drafted in the first round. Morris was an utter dumbass when it came to the offensive line.

He had the worst practices as well. Never worked to fix any problem that occurred during a play or drill. They would just move to the next play.

It's a testament that multiple players have come forward to make fun of Morris or tell how incompetent he was. Talked about how Morris tried to tout how he was a mathematician not a coach and other bullshite.

The players did. Just go watch the defense when Ty Storey was running around in the Western Kentucky game.

Just after the game several Arkansas players huddled around him to say congrats.

Maybe Chad will find his way again under the steady guiding hand of Gus.

The North Texas and Western Kentucky games were the worst effort by razorback teams that I have ever seen.

They threw in the towel because Morris was Just too toxic to deal with.

Maybe. Gus will have to be diligent about practice design. Morris does not like contact. He doesn't like spending time on improving the offensive line. The majority of his practices are 7 on 7 type skelly drills or something similar to Friday walk throughs but for every practice.

Morris doesn't like to drill plays to perfection either. He focuses too much on tempo instead of actually getting the play right. This is why we had so many presnap penalties. I'm not sure if it was the red bull but he was too damn jittery and unfocused to run a practice right. Morris also has that weird "Texas is the greatest" mentality that I thought only whorns had. You better hope that ya'll don't have any highly rated instate QB recruits who live and breathe for Auburn football because he will pass over them for a midget or relative from Texas.

I get your frustration. I felt the same way about Chizik after he was fired in 2012. The awful defense was especially disconcerting. But he came back to UNC after a couple years off and really fielded a good defense. I wish he had a stronger role model at Auburn, but he’s got Gus and I hope he can turn it around.

He may do well as OC, but an OC is NOT a great HC. Dude was the most douche of a dude I have ever seen attempting to coach a team. From Red Bull overload to club dub, to losing to teams that should never beat an SEC team. His pressers were even embarrassing.

Lordy Mercy He Sucked!
