In all honesty, what do Clemson fans think of him at this point?

we are somewhat surprised Cole Stoudt beat him out for the starting job last year.

I think there is still a good chance things will head south for him at Ole Miss.

Well it is a penalty, so it had something to do with it.
Only if they catch it.

To be fair, take out the busted play and the questionable run-pass option, and he is about 210 and 1 TD.

And if you eliminate that one time your dad fricked your mom, we don't get your shitty posts on this thread.

I'd rather be meh and 1-0 against Bama, than be great and 0-1

Why would I be worried about beating a team 9-6?

Oh wait. I get it. Sorry, bro.

What facts? Those plays happened. And happened early enough that if they magically didn't happen in your parallel universe that Kelly could've still made that up on the scoreboard and stat sheet.

The "if ____ didn't happen" game is just functionally retarded.

Yeah. Not that great.

Pretty meh completion percentage and if you take away that incredibly flukey deflection TD his stats don't look nearly as great. Still not bad by any means, but I can't blame someone for not being sold on him just yet.

There's a difference in not being sold (And I didn't see anyone crowning him a Heisman winner) and being a bitter frick because your team lost to him.

It's not hard to figure out which one the OP is.

I would take Coker any day over a guy who throws the ball up without looking with a 7 point lead.

What about that heave Coker took at the end while getting hammered that ended up being an INT? He had a chance to win the game on that drive and blew it. Same shite as Kelly, just different luck.

I'm not high on Kelly either, but you're being an incredible hypocrite with your argument.

I'm a bitter frick cause the guy's best play from scrimmage that wasn't started inside our 35 was a bad snap... almost fumble.. wild throw, that was then tipped... and landed in a WR's hand for a TD???

Seriously... that was the guy's best play.

Yes. You're bitter as frick if you think that was his "best play".

Would still have right around 290-300 yards passing

In a vacuum he would be 17/33 - 275 - 2TD.

Obviously if the pass were incomplete he could have continued the drive and his final stat line wouldn't look the same as if I just subtracted that play.

He definitely burned 'Bama on a few big plays. I just worry about his consistency. He is right around 50% and without a running game that could kill some drives.
