Is he ALL SEC.....probably not. But the kid went into a hostile environment and put up decent numbers, fluke plays or not. It was his first time against top talent and he produced. So congrats to him. Also, big props to defense. First time most of those guys played a full 4 quarters. They got really fatigue toward the end of the 3rd quarter. But they still made plays happen.

HOTTY TODDY!!!

These comments make this win so much sweeter! Nothing better than: excuse, excuse, excuse... I guarantee you that there are plenty of Bama fans out there thinking --Would you guys please quit crying with these "what if's" and "lucky this". If there is any team in existence which shouldn't cry about others getting a lucky break, it is Bama. Take your loss like a man! It's truly unbecoming of a champion!

Before the game we all heard about how Swag was a joke and that he was going to be exposed playing Bama at home..

Now everyone is trying to downplay his stats.... So you're telling me in his first SEC start he gets a win on ESPN against a top 3 Bama team on the road and he's good for 300+ yards, 4 TDs and no INTs but somehow that's misleading and that he still sucks?

Ok.

He is the reason OM has a chance to win the west. If Kelly goes down, OM will lose the rest of their conference games save for Vandy. The drop off after Kelly is deeper than Marilyn Chamber's rectum. Kelly is the only one that can operate their offense at it's optimum level.

So before the game he was a bust and now he leads his team to a victory in one of the most hostile stadiums in the whole country and he still sucks. Ok...I'll take him "sucking" if he plays turnover free and throws 2(3) TDs a game.

If you judge Swag by history. He is the best in our history. He just lead us to do something no other QB ever could. Which leads me to my second point. If judge him by wins then he is elite. Going on the road and getting the win at T-town. He made plays and won.

Stats can be taken a lot of ways, but half of his yardage came on a miracle play and a blown assignment by Bama's defense. As far as SEC qbs, he's dangerous enough in all aspects to put a lot of pressure on a defense and he has been efficient up to this point. I solid SEC qb so far.

He threw up a pass going down having never looked that is not a good QB, and got gifted a TD with a man 5 yards down field. Coker brought his team from behind and made plays while Kelly was given turnovers. Coker had 400 yards in 5 quarters coming in playing a decent team. I would take Coker any day over a guy who throws the ball up without looking with a 7 point lead.

The hurt butt is scrong in this juan.

I'm a bitter frick cause the guy's best play from scrimmage that wasn't started inside our 35 was a bad snap... almost fumble.. wild throw, that was then tipped... and landed in a WR's hand for a TD???

Seriously... that was the guy's best play.

Well how does that make your defense look? If he is as shitty as you make him out to be, then your defense must be a freakin joke. And for a guy to have 4 TD's, that is anything from being terrible.

Hell Coker had about 4 passes dropped on the last drive right in their hands. If we started Coker, we would have won the game easily.

Oh bullshait. That's as bad as 'if only Colt did not get hurt'.

Bateman's first two drives got the ball to what would have been FG range if we had a reliable kicker and then inside the OM 5, which resulted in points.

He made a terrible throw on his third one, which set up Ole Miss at around the Bama 30 and directly led to a TD and never saw the field again (something Coker also did later in the game). When he left the game, the score was 10-3.

What lost the game for Bama was a -5 turnover ratio with TWO of the being kickoff returns.

As to Kelly, he made some nice throws and he made some meh ones. Where you have to give him credit is how he performed when every ounce of momentum was going Bama's way. Everything in the world said it was time for another WAOM moment, but instead he came out and made the plays that kept that from happening and for that alone he deserves respect.

The moment never seemed too big for the kid, even when things were turning Bama's way. His OL did him no favors and, yet, he still hung in there and made plays. Don't underestimate the "first road game in a hostile environment" factor, either. Kid showed me he has balls as well as arm talent.

343 passing yards (150) of those yards should came off of two fluke plays.

Luckily for me we have a better qb than those 2. All qbs do is set records at UGA. Now if we can just win something like the SEC it would be nice.

Pretty aggressive read at that point. I think a check down to a back would have put you down the field within a few plays honestly. Way too much time on the clock to be throwing jump balls.
