Yes, its an absolute fact. Let's compare LSU's 25 seasons from 1975-1999 to Tennessee's past 25 seasons (1993-2017):

WINS
In the past 25 season, Tennessee has won 65.5% of its games... this compares to LSU winning just 56.6% of its games during the 25 seasons from 1975-1999. Not even close.

SEC CHAMPIONSHIPS
LSU won 2 SEC Championships during the 25 seasons from 1975-1999 (1986 & 1988) which is the same as Tennessee has won during the past 25 seasons (1998 & 1999).

If anyone thinks UT has been playing garbage football as of late, then you also have to think LSU played garbage football for the final 25 seasons of the last century.

Even if you look at Tennessee when it really started going down hill for them (2002-2017), their winning percentage has been 56%. LSU for TWENTY-FIVE seasons had the same winning percentage Tennessee has had for only the past fifteen. Imagine Tennessee wallowing just above .500 for another decade from now and that is what LSU was for a quarter century.

Again, I don't understand why its so hard for you to admit this.

because you're calling 35th overall nationally over a quarter of a century things like garbage and very mediocre. i'm sorry you can't see how ridiculous that is.

you might want to revise your definition of a fact. what you are stating is an opinion. not a fact. it is a fact that lsu was 35th overall nationally. what you call that is your opinion. see the difference?

and you have already admitted that you are aware of lsu's record in the 90's. aside from that exception, lsu was 25th overall nationally from '75-'89. you're grossly mischaracterizing the situation but the real question is why.

LSU literally just fired Les Miles after he won 77% of his games. Now you are saying that back when LSU won 56% of its games during a 25-year period, everything was peachy? Really? Now THAT is ridiculous.

Nope, I'm pretty sure its a fact. LSU's 25 worst consecutive seasons during the modern age of college football were these 25 years we are talking about. Now you are trying to act as if LSU was some powerhouse during the era because they were 35th nationally? Really?

So Top 35 is now completely acceptable by LSU standards? I know Coach O appears to be taking LSU into the gutter, but I had no idea you all had already accepted your soon to be place as acceptable. But by all means settle for this Top 35 spot in the college football world and continue thinking it isn't at all mediocre.

LSU record from 1975-1999:
159-121-7.
11 losing seasons. Granted most of them were in the 90s. That's very mediocre. 35th nationally may not sound terrble, but when you look at the records it is mediocre.

yet, lsu was STILL 35th overall which you are calling garbage and very mediocre. it's still stupid despite your latest nonsense

yet another strawman. i never said anything of the sort.
