UGA loses to Texas would bump Bama out.

Nope. SMU is in unless they get blown out 24-3 like alabama.

That helps teams apparently

Do you even watch football? Clemson sucks. SMU has blown out 5 common opponents that Clemson barely beat 4 of them and lost to the other

By that logic Oklahoma should’ve blown out LSU because alabama got blown out by Oklahoma.

This was always going to be the issue as soon as the count went past 4. Determining the top 4 is so much less difficult and controversial. Maybe 2 but usually there would be 1 team that could be 4 instead of 5;or ..6. But determining who is the 12th best team? That opens up the range to 4 or 5 teams

Flip the resumes. Alabama finishes the season with a 6 game winning streak, wins over three ranked teams, and a win @#12 who might be a conference champion. South Carolina loses 24-3 and then plays mediocre football in their final game of the season.

Uhh , but Alabama beat South Carolina

Explain this logic as both Texas and Georgia are guaranteed in the playoffs, and Georgia has already beaten Texas once at their house.

It’s not like they showed out against Auburn. 4 turnovers makes their offense look inept. We sucked arse in that game.
Thanks for losing, really helped us

If all of you are so convinced that Bama sux, why would you not want them to be embarrassed on a national stage?

By that logic

A one game sample size vs a 5 game sample size? I’ll ask again other than watching your shitty Auburn Tigers this year did you watch any other games?

Any scenario that results in Georgia and Texas potentially playing a third game in anything but the CFP championship game is deliberately arranged to eliminate SEC teams.

I have no issue with bama in the playoffs I know they will compete.. I have an issue with how much they punished uga for its ole miss loss and the fact that you guys lost to Oklahoma (beginning to think that sh&t was thrown lol) forcing us to play an extra game with a depleted team against a highly ranked opponent that we will likely have to play for a 3rd time..meanwhile espn has bama bracketed to play notre dame lmao and then smu what the ever living frick! Lol really!?

Haha. So, let’s break this down. The Playoff Committee put Clemson way down at 16. So if they win the PC has no choice but to put them in and you are theorizing they also put in SMU who they beat? A team who’s best two teams they have played all year are BYU and Clemson and they lost to both. The same PC that dropped Miami from 8-12(really 13 since Big12 has auto bid) for the same exact reason(not winning a game against a top 25) this week. That is your hypothesis? Lol

I'm happy we are potentially in the CFP because I want to watch the game, but I'm fricking thrilled that we are potentially in the CFP because it makes bitches like the OP and Rabern57 so upset.

I have not logged on all season. I came for the melts and the rationalizing of how Bama still won’t make the playoffs so I am in heaven right now. Lol

On the bright side, beating the same team three times in the same season would be cool. I’d be happy for Bama to make it in, but I’m not betting on anything.

Don't worry, only 8 more expansions before 7 loss teams come under consideration. The Auburn sweet spot.
