Mike Locksley (OC): D
Tosh Lupoi (DC): C

The owner of their website is on Finebaum right now. He claims that only two teams have won a national championship in the last 15 years with coordinators that scored below a B.

Brian Daboll (2017 Alabama): Had no grade due to him coming from the NFL
Ted Roof (2010 Auburn): Had a grade of a C

It looks like the odds are against us this year as both coordinators grade below a B.

I know I sound like a redneck Bammer here, but......

Yeah imma trust Nick Saban hiring coordinators over CFBmatrix guy's coordinator grades.

It doesnt really matter how you are as a coach when you have 5-stars backing up 5-stars. Talent wins a lot in CFB, especially when you have a lot more than basically every team you play.

This guy makes no sense. He has Alabama going 12-0 but has Auburn ranked ahead of Alabama in his matrix.

That's because he has the REC ranked above Auburn.

Who are the teams? Did they have the best coach in college football?

One of them had a Cam Newton.

Speaking of the Gus Bus, CFB Matrix is ALL IN on the Barn.

True but it is both coordinators though, correct? You just listed one for each team. Why I didn't see it at first.

Edit: I see how it can be read as just one of the coordinators, nvm

I just want to know what grade he had for Ellis Johnson. That will tell if the guy knows his stuff.

That's bc no one wants to come out against Alabama. With the level of success that Alabama has demonstrated the past 10years, I don't blame them. Fact is, even Nick Saban will make avg/bad hires and that level of success will start to come back down to earth. Now does that mean terrible seasons...no! But don't expect bama to keep having undefeated or 1 loss seasons, winning the SEC and making Playoffs every year.

Hopefully Saban is at least a A.
