41% is a truly wild number, holy shite
Is there any legit explanation for this, or do Kirby and UGA just not give a frick?

Okay, I'll ask it:
WHY "since 2016"?
WHY "since 2016"?

I don’t think the OP used a source that understands what the numbers represent, which means the OP doesn’t understand what the numbers represent.

Nobody except coaches gives a shite a graduating anymore.
College athletes still must meet yearly academic standards to compete, such as earning a minimum GPA and completing a minimum number of credit hours. Apparently UGA is cheating to keep them eligible.

You sure you should be the authority on this?

That is pathetic. UGA should be suspended from having athletic programs, until they get a reasonable rate.

Hince my question of the 2016 starting point.

Is it more impressive to allow borderline illiterate kids to graduate?

The national average is ~45% for college degree completion in 4 years. It is obvious that UGA is still holding players to the academic standard while in Athens, even transfers, which is the way it should be.

Apparently it’s good to lower the lowered standards

GA doesn't let them do classes while they are locked up.

Damn, Dawgs, that is kind of pathetic.
Also, props to LSU.

I would assume that's because they're going pro.
In fairness, I would think Alabama and Clemson would have a ton going pro in that time frame.
But...I watch football for football. If players don't take advantage of the opportunity to get a solid education, then that's on them, imo. But, yeah...I watch CFB for football, not graduation rates. I've never seen a sign at a CFB game saying, "We graduate more players than you!".

Just imagine how low it would be without Stetson Bennet's graduation on there, amiright?
Ours is bad, no doubt. But Texas was #58, so it's not like your team is lighting the world on fire.
