not a question of whether i want him but i assure him if given the chance, Bama, AU or Ole Miss will take him in a minute if the opportunity arises

Every day this kid doesn't sign makes me happy we missed out on him. Seems like an attention whore.

CeCe on hold. Banks are closed till Monday. I think his contract with Florida states he has to be the highest paid this recruiting cycle. Waiting to get confirmation on what Richmond got from UT.

CeCe and his dad are still reviewing / approving the list of 10 players the coaching staff suggested they use as CeCe's supporting cast when he takes the field on the Gator's first defensive posession next season.

I honestly don't blame the kid for getting shaken when your position coach takes off on Signing Day. The problem is, at this point, that most classes are full up. Auburn has a spot, not sure if Ole Miss or Bama has the space to take him if he goes somewhere else.
At the end of the day, he wants to be at Florida and is looking for a reason to be there but Muschamp was a bad head coach and really curb stomped the program. McElwain has a lot of work to do and if you were a kid who could play anywhere, would you walk into a situation where you might be doing well to win 7 or 8 games a year?

I don't care where he ends up. I fear the possibility he ends up at LSU because I have a bad feeling about how he and his family operate.
Right now, I'm starting to think the only place that would be safe taking him is a place with an established disciplinarian coach that won't tolerate nonsense and will gladly bench or boot him if it comes to that. A Saban or someone. But the longer he drags it out, the less likely a coach like that would even want him with the program, 5* or not.
It might be best for all concerned if he goes to play for Ohio State or something. Let him ruin a scuzzy coach like Meyer, not an SEC coach.

I'm guessing that Cecil Sr. is mentoring him on how to get a bump from the Auburn crowd's offer.
And Ole Miss also. At least we are only offering a job at Mercedes, not direct cash. Something actually worth a helluva lot more than $125K or $130K...if CeCe's dad doesn't actually mind working for a living.

The whole BS about the staff changes is just convenient cover for dad. UF isn't willing to match.

At this point I'm expecting CeCe to come out on the court at halftime of the UF-UK game, tear up the LOI, and rip open his shirt to reveal an Auburn shirt underneath like he's Hogan joining the NWO. What a drama queen he and his family are.

If he was stupid enough to believe that any coach that recruited him to Florida from Muschamp's shite staff would still be around than he is a dumber motherfricker than even I gave him credit to be.

Every major prospect has probably been offered by some, and some have taken in...so I never argue with the idea that there's money involved.
THAT BEING SAID, if I found out my position coach was leaving, it would affect my decision, especially if it was a tough decision. It sounds like he may have been told it was a possibility, but whatever happened it appears he doesn't feel they were transparent and he doesn't trust the situation.
There may be all sorts of reasons this is happening, and it may be all on him - but so far, I see no reason to assume he's an attention whore or anything like that.
