Smart, Kelly, and DeBoer are the only coaches on the list who have been head coaches on a team playing in the National Championship Game.
Smart and Kelly are the only Head Coaches on that list who have been head coaches for CFP teams in multiple seasons.

He's won a couple of Citrus Bowls. Isn't that UT's favorite bowl?

Drinkwitz should be just above Beamer. He’s had one good year in the SEC.

DuBose at #5 is laughable. His only noteworthy year as a head coach was when Michael Penix carried him to a prestigious Pac-12 championship. He then beat a wounded Texas team in the first round of the playoffs and got smoked by Michigan.
Xavier Worthy got injured in the Big-12 championship game and was a shell of what he was during the regular season. Jonathan Brooks tore his ACL and missed the playoffs. Texas also had a few offensive lineman beat up. The healthy Texas team that went into Tuscaloosa and spanked alabama was not the same team in the playoffs.
DuBose belongs at #10 ahead of Brent Venables.
