Kirby gets so much undeserved hate. He's sitting at two championships right now in a reality where Saban doesn't command a behemoth in Tuscaloosa.

Going 1-2 against someone is "owning" them?

Kelly and Fisher are WAY too high.

11. Ed Orgeron - LSU
10. Dan Mullen - Florida
9. Matt Campbell - Iowa State
8. Pat Fitzgerald - Northwestern
7. Kirby Smart - Georgia
6. Jimbo Fisher - Texas A&M

This seems to be very reactionary.

Kirby has won his division, conference, and went to a national championship.

O has won his division, conference, and a national championship.

Jimbo has won an Orange Bowl.

Edit: And Campbell and Fitzgerald haven't done anything

Also I listened to the cover 3 pod on this (which is normally good) but one guy “didn’t consider recruiting” in his ranking. Roster development and management matters as does booster management.

I’d take Gundy over Orgeron

There are several coaches listed ahead of orgeron, but shouldn't be. Including Mullen and smart. List is shite.

I wonder how many of the top 25 have gone .500 for a season?

Looks like all of the SEC guys have except for Smart.

Also, how the frick is Kiffin not a top 25 head coach?

Don’t really get this. It seems to me like Kirby just loses one game earlier than Lincoln because he has to play the SEC West champ earlier.

‘17 Kirby beat Riley
‘18 Alabama beats UGA in a close game then beats OU by the end of the first quarter
‘19 LSU runs UGA and embarrasses OU in the next game
‘20 OU and UGA both win NY6 bowls

I would take Lane Kiffin over the #11 coach on that list all day everyday.

Jimbo didn't coach FSU to a national championship?

The difference is Jimbo actually called plays to determine the game.

O was there to call timeouts when they told him to and watch Joe Brady call plays
